Where are we?
Located in the palm grove of Skoura, 7km from the center, Sawadi is easily accessible by classic car although the road is not paved. In this palm grove is the famous Kasbah of Amerhidil, a historical place whose image illustrates the Moroccan banknotes of 50 Dirhams (the old ones with King Hassan II).
Skoura Ahl El Oust is an agricultural village located 40 km east of Ouarzazate. This route will lead you to the valley of the roses and to gorges of Dadès. It is called in the tourist guides “the road of the 1 000 Kasbahs”.

How to get to SAWADI ?
We are located in the palm grove of Skoura7km from the center.
From the airport of Ouarzazate
The airport of Ouarzazate is served directly from Paris by 2 weekly flights (average flight time: 4 hours) or daily directly from Casablanca (average flight time: 1 hour). It will take you 45 minutes to reach us (car rental or pick-up service available).
From the airport to SawadiThe cab can carry from 1 to 4 people (see Rates). We can reserve it for you.
If you rent a car, take the national road 10 from Ouarzazate to the east towards Merzouga, Mideldt, Meknes, Fez.
From Marrakech
Most of our guests come by road from Marrakech. You will cross the Atlas by the pass of Tizi-n-Tichka at 2,260m. Count 4 hours without stop… Much more if you want to appropriate the atmosphere of the country. If you count on it, it doesn’t cost more than a rented car (it’s less tiring) and you can admire the landscape and you don’t risk being caught by speed cameras which are very present on Moroccan roads (be careful with speed limits). You can also take the bus from the bus station in Marrakech which arrives at Skoura. For one or two people, this is the most economical version.
Marrakech airport is served daily by most cities in Europe and France. The cheapest companies are : Easyjet, Jetair Fly, Ryanair…
