Food preparation is consistent with Sawadi’s « natural » ideal. Fresh and cooked products consumed by our guests at Sawadi come from our own farm (meats and vegetables). When eating a tajine, a couscous and other local dishes, guest can see the parcel in the orchard where the vegetables were harvested.
We do not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides in our farm ; we utilize only natural fertilizers and control pests such as ants and aphids by spraying natural « black soap »

We are very pleased to prepare and serve traditional Moroccan food at Sawadi. At our restaurant, guests may not only enjoy their meals but they have an opportunity to discover and learn the secrets of the local cuisine.
Our hosts and hostesses will be pleased to describe the regional dishes and the preparation of brochettes, tajines and the selection of spices we use. Our chef will work in front of you with the products from our farm that he would have harvested earlier from the orchard and herb gardens situated near the guest lodgings. From time to time and on demand, we serve European fare. Equally, we will be pleased to serve on request vegetarian food. |
